Stock Trends

Track Reddit mentions by community, compare positive and negative scored mentions, and read the source posts.

Stock Trends shows Reddit mention counts, subreddit distribution, sentiment scores, and source posts.

Compare mentions by subreddit

The first chart groups symbol mentions by subreddit. Choose Stacked Bar, Stacked Area, Line, or % of Total, then aggregate by day, week, or month.

Raw views show mention counts. % of Total shows each subreddit's share of the selected period. Updated shows the age of the data.

Reddit Mentions is also available as a chart indicator aligned with price.

Switch between mention counts and each subreddit's percentage of the total.

Compare sentiment scores

The sentiment chart plots positively scored mentions above zero and negatively scored mentions below zero. These are counts of scored mentions, not positions or trades.

Reddit Sentiment is also available as a chart indicator in Bar, Line, or Area form. The indicator can use a different source symbol.

Positive and negative scored mention counts are plotted on opposite sides of zero.

Create a Reddit alert

Create Alert can use the current symbol, subreddit scope, and timeframe. Conditions can watch mentions, mention change, sentiment, or a rank entering or leaving the top results. New Leader alerts watch for a change in the first-ranked symbol for the selected scope and timeframe.

A new or edited alert records the current facts without sending an old event. Later condition changes or a new leader appear in Inbox with the matching Reddit values.

The alert compares Reddit activity for the selected stock, scope, and timeframe.

Read the source posts

Specific Mentions shows each post's age, author, subreddit, title, flair, content type, text, and sentiment score. Open a card to read the source discussion.

Mention counts include at most one mention per user, ticker, and hour.

See Access and Limits for the earliest available history.

Each card shows the source and score behind one counted mention.
