Alerts

Monitor Flow, prices, indicators, short data, screeners, and Reddit activity from one alert system.

The Rules tab keeps every alert type, condition, status, and event count in one place.

Choose what to track

Create groups alerts under Price & technical, Trading activity, Short selling, and Discovery. Choose an alert type to enter its conditions, or use Automatic Alert Setup to calculate thresholds for a stock.

Create an alert from the Alerts page, chart, Flow table, Screener, or symbol-data page. Starting from a product page fills in its current symbol, filters, indicator, or screen in the editor.

Create groups the alert types and includes Automatic Alert Setup.
  • Option Flow and Trade Flow match live prints, grouped orders, and stock trades against the selected filters.
  • Price & Volume, Price Levels, and Chart Indicator watch price, volume, selected or recurring levels, and indicator crossings for one symbol.
  • Borrow Fee, Short Volume, Exchange Volume, FTD, and Short Interest watch source measurements or new reports.
  • Screener alerts track symbols entering or leaving results. Reddit alerts track mentions, sentiment, rank, or a new leader.

Calculate thresholds for a stock

Open Automatic Alert Setup and choose a stock. We calculate thresholds from its available price, volume, indicator, borrowing, short, Flow, and Reddit data.

Review the calculated conditions and historical sample or match counts. Select the alerts you want before choosing Create alerts. Historical matches describe past observations, not a forecast of how often an alert will trigger.

Each selected alert uses one account slot and is saved independently. Edit its conditions, pause it, or combine compatible alerts from the Rules table. Automatic Alert Setup requires Investor or Option Flow.

Review calculated thresholds and select which alerts to create.

Set the conditions

Conditions within one alert are evaluated together. The editor shows the measurements, comparisons, windows, symbols, and scopes supported by that alert type.

Where Reference data is available, compare recent measurements beneath the conditions before choosing a threshold.

A crossing compares the previous and current observations. A level condition checks the current value on each new report. The editor explains the comparison beneath the selected condition; different alert types offer different comparisons.

Flow alerts evaluate each new trade, print, or completed order group. Stateful alerts send an event when their full condition changes from false to true. Release alerts wait for a new publication, and Screener alerts wait for a change in result membership. A new or edited stateful alert records the current state without sending a historical match.

The explanation beneath the condition defines exactly when the threshold matches.
  • Crosses above: previous value < threshold; current value ≥ threshold.
  • Crosses below: previous value > threshold; current value ≤ threshold.
  • Crosses either direction: either crossing, including an indicator crossing another indicator.
  • Is above / is below: current value > / < threshold. Equality does not match.
  • Rises / falls by at least: change from the selected baseline is ≥ the specified amount.
  • Numeric Flow filters: > and < exclude the boundary; ≥ and ≤ include it. Combine comparisons to set a range.

Manage every alert

Choose Compact for a table or Cards for larger rule summaries. Search or filter by alert type and status. Sort by name, status, events, or created date. Rename an alert, turn it on or off, clone it, edit its conditions, or delete it.

Active alerts can run. Off alerts are saved but paused. Unavailable alerts remain saved but cannot run with the account's current access. Stateful alerts also show whether their condition is currently met.

Expand a row to edit the same fields used when the rule was created.

Combine conditions across alerts

Select compatible saved alerts and choose Combine. The combined alert sends one event when all child conditions are met. Its child alerts continue to evaluate and observe their cooldowns, but they do not send separate events while grouped.

Child rows remain listed under the combined alert. Expand the parent to rename it or add and remove existing ungrouped alerts.

A combined alert keeps its child conditions grouped together and editable from the parent row.

Review matches in Inbox

Inbox lists delivered events in newest-first order. Choose Compact or Cards without changing that order. Each item shows the alert, its saved conditions, and the data that matched. Expanding it marks it read and shows the complete alert snapshot, matched values, and observation, trigger, and delivery times.

Pause stops new events from entering the visible list. Play inserts the buffered events. Mark one event read from its item, or use the double-check control to mark every event read.

The navbar alert icon opens recent notifications. Select an event to inspect it, use Mark all as read to clear unread notifications, or open View alert inbox for the complete list.

Expand an Inbox card for the saved rule, matched values, and delivery timing.

Choose how alerts arrive

Every delivered alert is saved in Inbox. Toast alerts add a temporary notification while the site is open. Browser push can notify a registered browser after the site is closed.

Email groups alerts into a digest and sends it to the account email or one verified alternate address. The batching window does not change when events appear in Inbox.

On iPhone and iPad, add the website to your Home Screen, open it from that icon, and then enable browser push. Other browsers may require notification permission or a change in browser or system settings. The Delivery tab shows the action needed for the current browser.

API subscribers can stream the same alerts live. Open API Docs for connection instructions and event fields.

Delivery includes Inbox, on-site toasts, browser push, email, and API access.

Account access and timing

The Rules tab shows how many alerts the account can save. An alert can use only the data, scope, and timing available to that account. Market-wide Flow alerts require the corresponding subscription.

Unavailable alerts stay saved when access changes. They can run again when the required access returns. Delivery timing follows the account's access to the underlying data.
