Short answers. How alerts work has the long ones.
No. It starts from where things stand when you save it and only fires on what happens after that. Editing an alert resets that starting point.
At most once per minute. A Combined alert has its own limit, separate from the alerts in it.
Alerts on a free account and during a free trial arrive 15 minutes after they trigger. On Investor they arrive as they happen.
Yes, with browser push. On iPhone and iPad, add ChartExchange to your Home Screen, open it from there, and turn on push in the Delivery tab of Alerts.
They stay saved. Any alert that needs the subscription pauses, and runs again when access returns.
