About

ChartExchange is an independent financial market research platform. We're not a brokerage, and we're not an exchange. We grew out of the 2020-2021 retail trading boom and still build for the people who lived through it, easter eggs and all. We surface data that other platforms overlook: short borrow rates, options open interest changes, dark pool prints, real-time crypto depth. We chart it, screen it, and let you query it. Feature requests from users actually get read, and they often shape what ships next.

We cover US equities, US options, major crypto pairs, major forex pairs, and the broad indices most traders care about. Symbols are added continuously as new tickers list, and new pairs come online. We add new exchanges as the data quality clears our bar. For equities, we include trade conditions, exchange volume breakdowns, and intraday tick history that most consumer sites strip out. The data on ChartExchange is sourced from select market data providers, directly from exchanges, and regulators. We adjust for the things that quietly break charts elsewhere: stock splits, T+N settlement shifts on failures-to-deliver, and exchange consolidations. Years of history is retained for most datasets, and every screen you build can be exported for additional analysis.

Most of what you see on the site is also available through the API. Plug our datasets into your trading bots, models, or internal analysis pipelines. API docs.
