Thinking of switching from Stock/Index F&O to MCX Commodities – Thoughts?

\- Learn free basics: you can search any website, such as Investopedia, Monetyra, or any sources covering basic skills. You also can learn from any video based contents. The goal is mainly to get familiar with the terms.
\- Practice using paper trade before using real money.
\- Start small: When you do start, use just ₹2k–₹5k to buy single shares of companies you understand. Testing your psychology with small money matters more than chasing quick profits.
\- Avoid F&O for now: Master spot equity and basic valuation first. F&O leverage eats accounts alive if risk management isn't second nature.

When you're 19 with ₹45k and want to get serious about the market, the best edge you have is time, so focus on learning first, not quick flips. Start by actually understanding financial statements and valuation basics like P/E, P/B, ROE, books like "The Intelligent Investor" or "One Up On Wall Street" really break this down. Also, check out free resources like NSE India site or YouTube channels like Pranjal Kamra for beginner-friendly stock analysis.
Don't jump into F&O or swing trading, that's a ₹10L+ game and too risky without experience. Instead, try paper trading or simulators to practice without losing money. Then put just about ₹10k into solid blue-chip stocks or a Nifty 50 ETF like Nippon India's, and let that teach you how the market moves.
The rest of your ₹45k can go into a SIP in index funds or mutual funds so you build the habit and benefit from compounding. Keep your portfolio simple, don't chase IPO listing gains or hype, and review it maybe once a quarter. The key is slow, steady learning and disciplined investing, not gambling your capital.

- 1 piece of news / article somewhere about South Korea refusing to intervene in Iran.
- 1 unhinged / confused post from Orange felon spinning a story about how the US will reduce joint military efforts / exercise with South Korea because he feels the US should not have been doing as many joint efforts for so long.
And at least before (in my opinion - and again, I'm ready to be correct, or educated) , his core followers used to mostly focus on his post / his words, like gospel, and probably just see the post about announcing a reduction in joint military ventures with South Korea, and think "F* Yeah, putting america first and stopping useless things with allies we don't care about"
