CL contracts up in asia hours btw

Gold can be heavily influenced by interest rates/bond yields, the US dollar and crude oil prices so when all those things increase it can put heavy downward pressure on gold depending where the economy is at and vice versa if rates drop, the dollar weakens & oil prices fall, money can flow into gold instead.
So on a separate screen/tab I recommend having the 2 year yield US02Y, 10 year yield US10Y, the US dollar DXY and crude oil CL and have all 4 of those charts inverted as gold moves inversely to them so this makes it a lot easier to analyze.
Beyond that the entry strategy is up to you just make sure you use a VWAP with 2 or 3 standard deviations either side not just one and keep an eye out for any news on interest rates, inflation & employment especially in your region.

Anyone know how to put the live oil price on a steaming watchlist for TD Direct?
I’ve tried using symbols CL, CL1 ….. no joy

Dunno if anyone else is using Baanx crypto card but if you have any money sitting on the card, I'd pull it off. I hadn't used my CL Card in about a year and asked them for a new virtual card (which I received on request) and then to my surprise found they were not taking deposits, so not possible to add funds to the card. This cleared up about a week later, and I dropped $100 on the card. Today I went to add more and then make a purchase, to discover that they were "in maintenance mode" and deposits could take "up to a few days". A quick search showed a number of Trustpilot rants from this month, complaining of deposits not arriving, locked funds, locked cards and excessive KYC requirements. Needless to say, I didn't move any funds to the card and I've cleared the few dollars I had left on it.
Baanx are the service behind CL Card/Ledger, and also for MetaMask, 1inch and Exodus, though I think the others are all self-custody so should be fine?

Interesting. Yeah I know that’s the same for SPX. But CL is a nice idea

i trade them a fair bit, mainly on /ES and /CL. the big draw for me is the 1256 tax treatment, 60/40 long term/short term split is nice no matter what your bracket is. liquidity can be spotty on some contracts though so check the open interest before you jump in

Watch. CL will hit mid 80s eow, or next week, and the markets gonna zoom to new ATH's
