Experienced Options Traders - How did I do?
I was approved for Tier 1 option trades just after New Years and my first set of options expired on Friday. Here is the outcome:
Covered Calls:
American Airlines (AAL): 1 Contract with a strike price of $15.50. Expired worthless with a premium collected of 47.33
KeyCorp (KEY): 1 Contract with a strike price of $22. Shares called away with a premium collected of 40.33. I also made a $92 profit on the sale of the stock.
Cash Secured Puts:
Huntington Bank (HBAN): 1 Contract with a strike price of $17. Expired worthless with a premium collected of 20.33.
Banco Santander (SAN): 1 Contract with a strike price of $12. Expired worthless with a premium collected of 23.33
Truist Financial (TFC): 1 Contract with a strike price of $52.50. Assigned 100 shares at 52.32. $83.33 premium collected.
From the Fidelity side, I used Trader+, Trader+ Web and the Web UI for my research and to place the trades. Before I even pushed the button to make an options trade, I went through all of balance sheets and income statements along with a lot of technical charting that I've learned through the webinars that Fidelity provides. I even used Gemini AI to further analyze the charts along with the balance sheets.
What do guys/gals think of this strategy? I'm retired so I tend to stick to a more boring, conservative strategy but dang this is fun! And I at least earned my lunch money for and entire month... :)

Assignment is not an exact science. Having extrinsic a bit off gives anyways a sense of what is the likelihood to be assigned.
OP is worried about AAL put with ATM strike, which doesn't even need to be checked on the chain.
When the call bid is lower than 0.10 you can start worrying, but having the extrinsic column does not hurt.
