Most don’t want to enter that type of risk. There were two bear markets in the past 20 years where you could expect the somewhat knowledgeable swing trader to capitalize off of that. 2008 you really had to be savvy as smart phone eases was not a thing. 2022 maybe a smart investor could hedge with a position in SQQQ or SPXS. Since I’ve been investing 2021 ish buying the dip every time was the smart move.

That's the biggest misconception I heard throughout the years. That only applies to the reverse leveraged like SPXS, it'd designed to go to 0. Not the long 3x products.
