That's about what I have always run for portfolio-wide yield. I have a significant portion of the portfolio in individual investment grade corporate bonds yielding 5%+. My stocks yield about 2.7% overall. The overall yield runs 3.5% to 4%.
Some of my stocks are very high yield (KRP, RIO, DOC, ARE, CCI, WPC) and others are lower yields with faster growth (AME, APH, SYK, ETN, LIN, ALL, NOC, FAST). I also have four of the seven MAG-7 stocks
I try to spread my capital around to different types of factors and asset classes.
