I've been buying HRL for a few years and ended up with 111 shares @ a $23.81 cost basis. I use quite a bit of their products. I figured I might as well own what I use.

HRL is a very protein centric brand portfolio. They are much better positioned to deal with GLP1’s than, say, PEP or GIS.

Shit I buy 50 cans every April, just in case the big squalls come.
Might as well grab a few shares myself, ngl

I’ve been following HRL for years. I haven’t bought it yet, but I’m tempted at these levels.
I think success in Asia could be a game changer for the company. They tried once before when they bought Skippy from Unilever, which already had distribution throughout Asia. The idea seemed to be that they could use Skippy’s distribution network to expand SPAM, but it didn’t work out.
Now they’ve opened offices in Asia and are taking a more direct-sales approach. So we’ll see. If they can finally crack the Asian market, it could materially change the growth story.

yeah HRL and KHC and CPB I don't know what they are gonna do
KHC and CPB are down 75% in 10 years and HRL is down 50%

Yes, I invest in HRL. I have little over 100 shares. I like that good dividend and I personally believe the company will recover and the share price will increase.

Even HRL's dividend is shrinking though.
