It's not talked about since it was a HNI product till few years back since ticket size was 10 lakhs and HNIs have been investing in these since ages.
Now ticket size has reduced to 10k hence now conversations are starting around this in retail.
My two cents: It's a good asset class and deserves place in portfolios. Yes there will be defaults now and then in 1% of the bonds but 99% will pay on time. So one needs to diversify well so that even after any default, in long run one ends up making good returns
