Good day to own shoes.. $DECK $WWW and $NKE all green

$DECK $14 billion company that trades 2.5X's revs, with $1.6 billion in cash, no debt, and an active stock buyback program. The buyback program alone takes away nearly 1/3 of the outstanding share count.

Some how this trades down here like it is trash like $NKE

The buyback is a little misleading here. DECK has $4.7B authorized now. That’s not a promise to spend it. Their guidance assumes buybacks worth around 80% of this year’s free cash flow.

I posted [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValueInvesting/s/CNR0YqVbuG) in this subreddit recently about DECK. Most comments were reserved or negative about it. A few supported my thesis and outlook.
I think it's a good buy now, especially when its price was dropping to $92-93 momentarily.

Looking at $DECK as a value play

I subscribed to morningstar to look for undervalued companies, and after months of using it, my takeaway is that the undervalued companies are usually undervalued for a good reason. However, I also observed that the major rich and stable companies have wild swings in the year and at some time in the year they are undervalued. For example you can see ORCL, and DECK, LULU. PLTR, NVDA, AMZN .. they are suppressed presently but at some time they will recoil.
Finding hidden gems and undervalued plays that nobody noticed is kind of exciting, like an easter egg hunt. But not to forget the reason for doing these things is to make money, and money is being made all right, but just not by people too scared to buy. While being scared has its value, but doing something about the risk and figuring out loss minimizing strategy is the way ahead, not waiting too long watching the world go by with other people making the money.
If you ARE preferring to wait, then wait for the big companies to hit their 52 wk low. and invest when there is a confirmed reversal of that trend. PONY may be one (Well it's not big, but it may just be getting out of a reversal trend so worth watching it for a bit and deciding whether to take the plunge or not
