If the 1oz silver eagles feels great in your hand you need to hold a 1lb SE, I’ll get them over a 10oz bar on the rare occasion my shop has them in. Half pound SE are cool too.

For real, the PR-57 might be my most fun pistol to shoot. 9mm and 10mm are fun too but just something about the 5.7mm round is just amazing. Super flat shooting and extremely easy to rattle off shots in a tight pattern. Especially after I added a green dot SE to it, it's easy to put consistent shots in the bullseye at 20-25 yards

ETFs are great for people who want a safe path. If asked, I tell everyone to invest in an ETF. My wife? Invests in an ETF, because she is smart. We also invest for our kids in an ETF. For my own retirement portfolio, I do the opposite. Why? Because I love investing and the long-term growth that comes with it. And I have a faible for dividend stocks. As I am based in Europe, there a quite a few compounders, especially in the insurance industry, which is the bedrock of my dividend portfolio. And they all paying juicy and growing dividends.
* **Münchener Rück (Munich Re):** A true standout. The reinsurer just proposed a massive dividend of **€24.00** per share, up 20% YoY, after 33% last year, 29% in 2024, 5.4% in 2023, and 12,20% in 2022.
* **Allianz SE:** The company just announced a dividend hike of **11.00%**, after **12.00%** last year, **21.00%** in 2024, **5.50%** in 2023, and **8,00%** in 2022.
* **Swiss Re:** They announced a **9%** hike**,** after **8.00%** last year, **6.00%** in 2024, and **1.00%** in 2023. I love the growth acceleration! *Note: Swiss Re declares its dividend in USD, so the final payout depends on exchange rates for Swiss or euro investors/returns may differ slightly for Swiss- or euro-based investors due to FX effects*.
Seeing cash coming in every month makes something with me :D But that is only me. I acknowledge and accept the risk that I may underperform a broad ETF.
