I'd say you're making great progress. I never considered incorporating QLD or QQQ as part of my TQQQ algo.

Have you ever considered incorporating a brief tactical SQQQ position in your strategy when QQQ is overextended and reaching exhaustion?

The Net-Net might be the same ? If you just hold, QQQ will be down 35% and QLD will be down 76% adding back on 50% if you can time the bottom ?

If it's long-term money, I'd rather just hold QQQ than do 50% QLD and 50% cash. QLD adds leverage drag, and the cash side only helps if you're actually good at deciding when a dip is worth buying. If you want dry powder, keep a small amount, not half the portfolio.

You can QLD on bigger market dips by selling some QQQ.
