You should look at PHYS and PSLV and or GDX or SiLJ to diversify a little and hedge against inflation. The s&p 500 has been on a roll for 25+ years, and part due to growth of the companies inside them, but in part due to its out-sized role in taking in passive investments in 401(k)’s. If that ever reverses and outflows from retirees are greater than the implied from new passive investors, the momentum can work to the downside. You should also consider some VTI and VEU.

I’d buy PHYS, the Sprott gold closed end fund. You will be able to sell at a low spread compared to coins or bars. It’s the safest one in terms of counterparty risk.

Here is a plan I made for a Roth/taxable brokerage just for ETFs
Roth
43% VTI
38% QQQM
11% SMH
5% IBIT
3% VXUS
I already have SCHD but decided to keep it on a pause with reinvesting into SCHD for now since I am young.
Taxable
36% VOO
22% QQQM
10% SPMO or 14% SPMO
8% SMH or 4% SCHD
4% PHYS
Wanted to see what you all would recommend based off of these plans and if I could add more diversification for a similar growth, what recommended ETFs would there be for that. Especially maybe good EM ETFs?
