This is all very speculative... there's only a "framework" for a deal. Only god knows what that means.
And even if there is a deal, it's very speculative what it would involve (how much mining, what kind of mining, ...).
That said, MXI (basic materials) has 54% in US and 16% in developed Europe. That would give you a good cross product. The ETF is up +33% in a year.
There are a few others with similar characteristics.
