When you choose to direct deposit into your Fidelity account, it can take 1 to 3 days from the pay date to reach your account. We suggest reaching out to your company's HR department to discuss the exact timing of when they initiate their payments.
Once received by Fidelity, direct deposits are considered fully collected upon receipt and are available immediately for use.

Hopefully this will encourage the OP and others. I'll start by stating I'm probably the worst trader on the planet, but I was able to compound successfully and grow a small account. Granted there were things working in my favor where I didn't have to worry about mortgage/rent or struggle to pay bills if this didn't work out.
I started trading right at the COVID crash, so not much experience and blew out plenty of times.
What worked/changed for me was to just go for base hits and not try to hit HR's. I've hit HR's before only to strikeout like crazy and blow-out. Once you learn to compound without the HR's, well this was important for me.
And I'll say this, "if I can do it, I'd wager anyone can do it." The question is are you OK with taking the walks and basehits or are you going to keep swinging for the fences and risk the K's. Are you ok with toiling in the minor leagues for a few years before making it to the show, and most importantly are you willing to put in the work and sacrifice the time to become this?

EIQ confirmed their shit plan to fool fda didn’t work and HR guy provided their update.

Their HR/recruiting department is dogshit. Their interview invitation email was just basically, listing out \~15 or so recent hires with their accomplishments (IMO, IOI…) then they ask you to schedule a 30min call with their HR - then after scheduling, he ghosts, then after 3-4 follow up emails he schedules the call, then cancels, schedule again, cancel again absolute disaster.
After finally doing the call, I am told they will send me an interview invitation for their r1 in a week or so, then ghosted again after many follow up emails, I don’t care how much they pay, I have washed my hands off this unprofessional humiliating recruitment experience. T5 firms have better recruiters.

Got to compound. So $1k x 10% = $100 + $1000, then $1100 x 10% =$110 + $1100 = $1210, then $1210 x 10% and so forth.
I really hope this concept (power of 10) really helps someone to stay disciplined and patient because without it I'd most likely still be losing money swinging for HR's.

You're hiring process should already be sorted, dont need more upper mgmt
It's another layer of HR, costs a lot of $$, slows work down with more approvals, etc etc
More upper mgmt is never the answer

I'm a CPA who worked at TurboTax. I usually suggest HR Block software.

1) Ask HR if you can be enrolled in Roth
2) Does employer do a match or contribute etc
3) Start looking for a new job if possible and update your skills/resume
4) Can't hurt to send a few resumes here and there

The vast majority of tax filers are standard 1040 or 1040-EZ filers… and I can tell you from experience that Intuit makes it incredibly freaking difficult to use and stay on their free, easy, basic tax filling.
Even though they lost an anti-trust case or something about essentially making it impossible to find their free tax offering, it still makes it difficult.
Does reputation matter? Sure. I think a terrible user experience trumps people knowing you’ve been doing it a long time.
Wave, FreshBooks, and Xero all have great reviews…ESPECIALLY Wave.
And there are other companies that started out in other services like Payroll / HR and are expanding into Quickbooks services.
Rippling is a company that I believe is going to take significant market share as they mature further. They are an all-in-one (HR, Payroll, travel, etc.) and their “Finance” product covers spending, invoicing, expense tracking, banking, bill pay, procurement, travel, corporate cards, etc.
My brother works there. They are firing on all cylinders and will likely go public in a couple of years.
