Here’s why I hate this slop. I’m old enough to remember the dotcom bust.
I remember the sock puppet ads on the super bowl and the bogus companies with zero revenue gaining massive market caps.
That couldn’t be any further from where we are today. Go look at the recent TMS numbers or any numbers related to AI.
One last thing… the current price swoon has lowered RSI across the board. That didn’t happen in the dotcom.

I think your overlooking the B2B options and it's impact, the average consumer only knows the big 3-4 but every SASS operations platform is heavily integrating AI options as service level add ons - From SMS platofrms overring automated response agents to Delivery companies overing advance AI tracking and 3D gate imaging. Most of these platrorms are running on the lease by models that are run by server farms , many of them use the locally installed models of the big 3 but the open license nature of some of them and independent LLMs allows for the customization and following charges for the individual service. You also have all these companies out here trying to sell you simple logic or algorithms they are addding to software as "AI"
I do agree its going to all burst but the above is part of the reason the metrics are bit higher then the average person that agrees it will burst are.
A few examples im currently working on been reached out to ask to implement
One of my agent data aggregators offers a service AI for prepost AI analytics , like a QA options to double check all inbound API calls and EDI files , similar to VAN service but AI agents customer configured to business profile.
Our TMS software is adding AI routing option for additional Fee that helps find and speed up volume consolidation and analyze predictive route traffic - it also uses AI to generate 3D rendorings of how a truck should be loaded to perfectly optimize - not that some of these options dont already exist TMS but its an new AI service for this software.
My SMS API platofrm is trying to convince us to use an AI chat agent to handle 30-60% of our B2B sms communications automatically
OUr phone vendor is trying to get us to sign up for an AI receptionist (Something we would never do but just another example)
This is in addition to half a dozen ones i have already integrated in the past year - not on our end but all through vendors service additions .
