bought some SONM possible buy out at 3.60 reported this morning that would be a + 100% move

Word on the street is that $SONM is probably going to accept the offered buyout. We might not be hearing for them for a day or two officially but I’d be surprised if it’s any longer than that. I think the price is going to fall a bit more today so I’d maybe wait til EOD to jump in. NFA

Sonim Technologies (NASDAQ: SONM) has received an unsolicited acquisition offer from DOOGEE to purchase all outstanding shares at $3.60 per share in cash. The Special Committee of Sonim's Board, which oversees strategic alternatives, acknowledged DOOGEE's June 9 indication of interest but stated they lack sufficient information to properly evaluate the offer. The committee requires detailed information about DOOGEE's financing arrangements, strategic rationale, and regulatory execution capabilities. Currently, Sonim has an existing exclusive letter of intent (LOI) for a reverse takeover, and the committee remains committed to advancing this agreement. Mike Mulica, Special Committee Chair, noted that while the interest validates Sonim's market value, their priority is maintaining a disciplined evaluation process.

1st, have tight stops, stop adding to losers and start cutting them where you would normally add as you said. Tight stops are so so so important, if they’re tight enough you can have a terrible win rate and still be profitable. But from what i’ve gathered futures is very difficult to trade, maybe consider momentum stocks, i’m fairly new, around 3-4 months of pretty dedicated learning, and simulation trading, but very good so far. Took a good trade this morning on $SONM from a bull flag and put my whole account up 12% (Real money small robinhood account) And some good simulation trades as well, of course 2 small losses, but cut those quickly to the point they were almost insignificant. I priorly couldn’t get thru a sim, strictly because i was holding losers too long and for some reason expecting a reversal, cutting them quick, feels wrong because it’s not a real loss until you hit that sell button, but it’s a huge part of trading you need to “master” is being a great loser. Adding to those losses won’t do much besides the occasional reversal and you’re in the green, which only reinforces a bad habit. Start cutting those losses quicker and see if anything changes, also don’t sell winners too soon. Hope this helped at least a little!

Shoutout to Gloomy for calling SONM a few days ago. I bought in at 1.02 and sold this morning at 1.97. I woke up too late to sell it at its peak (2.50ish) but this was an awesome surprise.
