For BDCs I'm fond of HTGC and their pristine loan portfolio, with around .2% non accrual loans (their failure rate, industry decent is around 1~2%). CSWC has also treated me well. If you want simple, BIZD is a BDC ETF; you get a bit of everything. I find MAIN, everybody's darling, way overpriced; their NAV to price is out of whack even by their standards.
For REITs I'm currently holding VICI, but you have to do your own homework to factor in their expansion beyond their core Vegas strip and the diluting way they are going about it. Adjacent to VICI but different, GLPI. Where VICI properties are a destination, GLPI covers your down the road casino properties people from near by drive to. Make sure you understand what risks Ballys bring to GLPI.
MLPs, I have HESM, MPLX, and PAA. There is lots to love in that space, but I don't want to get any fatter in a single category.
For cash flow, GAB and ARDC are pretty great, they avoid ROC distributions which means they may lower dividends, but they keep a still high, more reliable dividend.

I like NAT and INSW but FRO is good too. Another angle is MLP’s like EPD PAA ET WES MTDR PBF ENB etc….yield to yield
