Definitely recommend researching LUNR and reviewing the prior Intuitive Machines earnings call transcripts the last few quarters.
You will realize that lunar landing are only a small part of their overall business and they are getting involved the National Security/Dept Of Defense programs.
Their main driving force is going to data relay services with income generation starting with the first satellite placement part of the IM3 mission in q1 of 2026.
What Intuitive Machines has proven that they do the best compared to anyone else it transit from earth to moon and pin point lunar orbit insertion procedures. They get to via lunar orbit faster than anyone has ever done before and they have the best accuracy of orbit position and anyone has before as well. Their data transmission speeds are faster than anyone/anything to ever go to the moon.
The satellite that is being placed in orbit with IM3 is the first of five of the $4.2b NSNS constellation that will generate income/profits for the company for pay by minute usage . As this satellite will be place with direct line of sight to the earth, it will instantly be accessible to companies/agencies for the pay by minute usage.

Most notably this week we had TSLA and GOOG earnings. TSLA Y/Y declining sales, cited further AVs expansion by EOY and Robotics production in 2026. GOOG saw increase demand and usage in AI search, increases capex to further AI infra and demand. As of the time of this writing Trump announced a deal with EU and agreed on 15% tariffs across board.

Everyone still believes (falsely) LUNR is a moon lander company. The moon landing business is insignificant ($100 million a pop) compared to the $5 billion lunar communications network they're going to build. No one yet understands the value of having communications satellites around the moon that all 50+ Artemis countries will need to use. I think they're wasting their time with the rover contract, they can't do everything. Figure what you can do well on the moon, because Mars and other planets are next. Of all the overhyped space companies these days, LUNR has the real moat.

KULR, LUNR, SMC or AMD.

I invested in LUNR recently. It is a speculative investment that, in the next year at least, appears likely to have its share price driven up or down reasonably dramatically based on events. Events such as NASA’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle contract decision and the outcome of Intuitive Machines’ planned IM-3 mission.
That said it has a notable existing contract for NASA’s Near Space Network (with $4.8 billion potential\*) which should hopefully begin generating service revenue for LUNR in 2026.
