It’s western Union; go anywhere in the world & you’ll see their partners, anywhere. I just screened for dividend paying stocks under $10 & then did the Warren Buffett “turn every page.” The P/E is lower than most publicly traded, profitable stocks, lower than a lot of stocks that aren’t profitable. The ER wasn’t a beat or anything but the conference call was clean, guidance was solid. The institutional ownership being over 130% had my mind racing.
I wish I could hold things like this with conviction, time my entry/exposure & scale my positions better. I could’ve done the trade a lot better if I just dug in deep @ $6.30 but who knew how much farther it was going to drop? Because I had some higher positions, I actually sold for a small loss today & have to wait a month to be out of wash sale territory before re-entering. That could be right around the completion of their acquisition. If there’s more buyout buzz, it may not dip; you wind some & you lose some I guess. My portfolio/life is okay so I’m not going to let it beat me up, but I do have a knack for picking stocks 🤣 ($DUOT in the low $8s which now has a $26 PT, $NOMD in the low $9s, $RITM below $9, etc, all incredibly undervalued stocks)
