Honestly, the Reddit narrative could actually pick up steam with the IPO hype still lingering around. If the dev keeps liquidity locked and the community stays active instead of just waiting for an instant pump, it might have legs. Threw a tiny bag of spare SOL at it just to see where it goes. Always gotta be cautious with microcaps, but stranger meme coins have definitely flown way higher.

Damn thats not great! I used to always switch to SOL before sending to Revolut. Now i use a [Jupiter](http://jup.ag) card and pay with that lol.
Revolut's terms say 'any deposits for unsupported cryptoassets will be permanently lost, and we will not be liable for any losses you suffer as a result of this.'
Not sure if that's still the case but it's still [here](https://cdn.revolut.com/terms_and_conditions/pdf/cryptocurrency_3214b016_2.0.5_1709900849_en.pdf).

No one said it's a good investment. It's always been speculative. That said, hopefully you're not the kind that puts all their eggs in one basket. Me: BTC, ETH, SOL, Gold, Silver, and Stocks. When some are down, others are up.

If your grandpa is still alive, it isn't an inheritance. How did your mother get them? Were they still at his house? If you had not transferred them to your own control, it may not be yours. If the police comes, and he says he gave them to your mother, you are SOL.

I keep a small SOL buffer anyway, something like 0.02-0.05 SOL, because gasless only helps with swaps. If you need to send tokens to another wallet, close empty token accounts, or do anything that isn't a supported swap, you still need SOL for the fee. Also worth remembering that a new token account needs rent (around 0.002 SOL), so being at zero can block things you wouldn't expect.

Hey guys,
I just set up my self-custody Brave Wallet to connect my Brave Rewards on Solana. I ran into the classic chicken-and-egg problem: I need a tiny fraction of SOL (~0.0025 SOL) to pay for the Associated Token Account (ATA) creation, but don't want to go through full exchange KYC just for 50 cents. If anyone has some spare change to jumpstart my wallet, I’d really appreciate it:

Thanks in advance!

I hate people using gross, not take home. take home gives you a more realistic view point on your financial situation, IMO. While I may be "earning" 50k, I am "living off of" 40k, for example.
your point about insurance is why many say it's cheaper to pay more in taxes for universal healthcare than deal with the "private" market. I also hate how insurance companies negotiate with hospitals, so if our local hospital doesn't have a contract with the insurance provider my workplace uses, I am SOL and have to travel for basic care. this is fairly common in rural areas.

Genuinely trying to understand this stock.
Crypto has had a strong quarter, GLXY has huge exposure to BTC/ETH/SOL and the treasury gains should be significant. At the same time, Helios/AI infrastructure keeps getting built out and the CoreWeave side of the story is supposed to be the other major catalyst.
At the end of Q2 Galaxy had:
$2.75B equity
$2.5B cash + stablecoins
$1.2B net digital assets + investments
And Q3 is the first full quarter where all 133 MW of Helios Phase I is operational.
Management itself guided to approximately:
$80M Q3 leasing revenue
\>90% project-level adjusted EBITDA margin
That's >$70M of quarterly project-level EBITDA from Phase I alone.
Galaxy also now has a 5.7+ GW potential data-center pipeline, including 1.63 GW already approved at Helios.
Yet the stock trades like absolute shit. Every rally gets sold and it feels like someone is smashing the bid every day.
I understand the bear arguments - huge capex requirements, CoreWeave concentration, crypto volatility, and the market not knowing whether to value this thing as a crypto financial-services company or an AI infrastructure company.
What exactly am I missing here?

Easiest way to check what you actually hold: open Phantom and tap the balance, it'll list each token separately (SOL, BTC-wrapped, etc.), so you know exactly what you're moving. Then on Kraken go to Deposit, pick that exact asset and make sure the network says Solana, copy that address and send a small test amount first before the rest. Also since this started with a fake "Kraken support" person, consider moving everything to a fresh wallet with a new seed phrase if you ever shared anything with them, and ignore any DMs offering help here.

43.77 SOL is a painful reminder that blockchain transactions don’t come with an undo button. 😬
OP, ignore anyone DMing you offering “recovery services.” Whether the SOL is recoverable depends on exactly what address/program received it and whether there’s actually a valid path to move the funds. Keep everything public and verify advice before signing anything.

Curious... Why SOL address? Gas fees are much higher.

$336M in wrapped SOL is definitely bigger than I expected. The interesting part to me is what that liquidity actually represents if a lot of it is tied to active trading and pools, that's a much stronger signal than just looking at the headline number.

$336M locked in wrapped SOL and half the sub still thinks memecoins are just noise. I watch my patients chase quick fixes every day, same psychology different asset class. Pumpfun isn’t some fringe thing anymore, that footprint is institutional whether people want to admit it or not. Rural NC here, closest thing I have to a financial advisor is a guy at the gas station shilling shiba. So maybe my bar is low.

$336M in wrapped SOL is kinda insane. Pumpfun’s onchain footprint is way bigger than people give it credit for.
