Take a look at the chart and zoom out to the 5Y look. What do you think? Does it look like it's going to go up or down? It looks like it has some moments of strong breakout, but the trajectory always seems to be the same, since DOGE keep getting created every day.

I don't think DOGE is the way to go in my opinion. Now this isn't to say that it couldn't or can't go up and make tons of people money if you position accordingly and follow the trends. I personally think a retirement fund into a Crypto asset is something you should take a lot of time to do research on before you put your money into it. Find out everything you can on it. The main assets to look for in my opinion are the ones with the most utility behind it. Those are the coins that are going to make moves. I also wouldn't based on the way crypto moves buy it and forget about it for years and then finally come back. There's only one crypto I have seen people always say to do it for btc, and while I do agree with that. I am someone who likes to diversify into more than one token. Doge in my opinion is something to think about putting some money into if you have a good feeling about it and would like to see. But thats something you should DYOR and not take my words as financial advice. Most people trying to hard shill you a token and say please buy it unless you geniunely know that person irl and they care about you are trying to scam you 9 times out of 10 anywhere online

Calling DOGE a meme coin isn’t saying it has to die. It’s describing what primarily drives demand. Something can survive for years, go up a lot, and still be speculative enough

DOGE can be a fun gamble, but “retirement fund” and “meme coin” probably shouldn’t be the same bucket. Diversify first, speculate second.
