Hello everyone i wanted to make a little update post regarding my last post and my losses here is the [original post](https://www.reddit.com/r/WallStreetBetsCrypto/s/uAXFHzJbew) so you can check it for context First of all thanks again for everyone who cared enough to leave a comment or read through my post I wanted to clarify some points because i think i didn't explain myself enough in the original post The total amount i actually deposited was around 5k usd that was around the end of 2024 and the start of 2025 and was distributed as an investment between safe assists most of it in SOL around 30 SOL and ETH around 0.5 ETH i don't remember the exact numbers now and some other small projects like ARB,XRP,ADA just small amounts just in case something go to the moon. Everything was going great till the October last year crash at that point the portfolio was around 10000$ usd or so and then it kept bleeding but i kept holding and holding and the recovery never arrived at least not to even the amount i initially originally added, i know crypto is risky and loss to be expected however i felt uneasy to loss that much but i tried to convince myself everything will be okay Then the building that my appointment is in the one i am going to marry in after 6\~7 months was found by the state as unsafe and I can't move to it and that's what broke me and i couldn't take it anymore, i looked at my balance on binance and i saw that all what i had was like 4k + 2k that i have in my bank because i kept saving in my bank after the crash and didn't want to deposit anything else to binance From here i thought maybe if i do some trades with leverage i can recover and have enough money to get a small apartment and everything will be okay all i need is like 2k more usd and i got small wins then lose after lose after lose it kept bleeding till i got liquidated at the end I want to mention that i never touched futures before, i have no history with gambling but i saw no other option there was basically nothing else to do (at least this is what i thought at that time) and here i am lost all the money on binance, i have 2k left in my bank which puts me in a worst situation because now even if the apartment issue was fixed by somehow I don't have enough money for basic renovations but it's all my fault no one else's and i understand my mistake now And that's the whole story thanks for reading and if someone would like to help with anything here is my binance id : 546079188 even a dollar or two will help but it's okay if you don't want to you are not required to send anything it's my mistake and it's up to me to figure out how to resolve it Thanks again for reading and have a wonderful day

UPDATE: shout out to @lives_in_a_pineapple for being awesome and saving the day. Wallet successfully restored, issue was related to the spelling of one of the words in my seed. All is well, now trying to get my midnight drop into my new wallet. Seems like there is a bug but that's the least of my worries now. Hands down ADA has the best community with people who are always available to help. As a reminder, use extra caution with people in your DMs, especially when they are offering a link to sync your wallet with the chain...

No need to panic. You can change your DRep delegation at any time, including after November 30. Your ADA and rewards won't be lost or disappear. Just choose a new DRep when you get a chance.

PSA: if you're still on the Yoroi or EMURGO DRep, you won't be able to withdraw your ADA rewards after 30 Nov!

Similar situation to me a couple months back, but my ETH gains outweighed my ADA losses. I sold both positions, realised a net gain (which I'll pay less CGT on due to tax loss harvesting from ADA), while freeing up a load of capital to start buying again. I've been rebuilding an ETH position, with a cost basis less than where I sold, but higher than the cost basis on the initial position. I doubt I'll buy ADA ever again. If you think we're going lower, you could sell with the plan to buy lower. If you think we're going higher, you may as well hold on. Also, not sure what exchange you use, but you can trade your ADA for ETH to tax loss harvest while keeping your ETH position (which is in the green). Good luck ;D
