Exactly! And it's the part of the thesis that isn't really speculative, caregivers lose up to \~16 hrs/week to documentation, and it's not optional work. Only thing I'd add: the problem being huge is the easy part to be right about. Lots of companies spotted this same pain. My bet on AMST is whether that EMR/EVV integrated deal proves they can capture it, not just describe it. That's what the Sept print will tell us.

**TLDR**
Amesite ($AMST) is a \~$6.6M market cap AI healthcare documentation company that just landed its largest enterprise deal ever: a 2,700 patient home care customer wired directly into their EMR and EVV billing systems. Both the founder CEO and a board member bought stock with their own cash in the last six months, and part of that buying was an insider led private placement priced above market. The stock round tripped its entire May spike and now sits near 52w lows around $1.14.

**About $AMST**
Amesite builds **NurseMagic**, an AI native documentation platform and lightweight EMR purpose built for non-acute care, home health, hospice, post acute. That focus matters: they're deliberately not trying to fight Epic and Cerner in the hospital. They're going after the fragmented, under digitized, paperwork crushed segment of healthcare that the big EMR vendors largely ignore.
The core value prop is almost embarrassingly simple, which is why I like it: caregivers reportedly burn **up to \~16 hours per week** on documentation. NurseMagic claims to compress a single note from **\~20 minutes to \~20 seconds**. It's HIPAA compliant, built on proprietary AI trained on industry-specific clinical data, serves both B2B (enterprise) and B2C (individual nurses) across all 50 states and 21 countries, supports 100+ professions, and translates into 50+ languages, which uniquely serves the large share of U.S. nurses who don't speak English as a first language.
The company frames its TAM as the **$1.5 trillion** non acute/post acute care segment.

**Insider ownership**
In the last 6 months, $AMST insiders made **2 operations, both buys.**
* **CEO Ann Marie Sastry** bought \~174,216 shares (\~$250K).
* **Board member George Parmer** acquired 243,902 common shares (plus matching A1 and A2 warrants, 731,706 securities total across the structure) for \~$350K.
And the critical detail: the April raise was explicitly structured as an **insider led private placement priced at a premium to market.** Sit with that. When insiders pay above the prevailing share price to put their own money in, and one of them is the founder CEO with a PhD. who started the company in 2017, not a hired gun executive harvesting options, that's about as strong an alignment signal as you get at this market cap.

**The biggest catalyst: the 2,700 census deal**
On **May 18, 2026**, Amesite announced its **largest deployment to date**: an enterprise home care customer representing an **approximately 2,700 patient census.**
It integrates directly into the customer's **EMR and their electronic visit verification (EVV) workflow.** That's the stickiness tell, and it's the single most important technical detail in this DD. Pilot project software is trivial to rip out. Software wired into a provider's **billing critical EVV** (EVV is how home care visits get verified and reimbursed by Medicaid) and their medical records is not.
That day $AMST ran **\~120%–190% intraday on May 19** on **100M+ shares** of volume, tagging \~$3.40 intraday before fading.

**About the technicals,**
* **Price \~$1.14** as of today
* **Well below the 200 day MA (\~$2.32)**
* **52 week range $0.77–$4.78.** We sit in the bottom third, just off the all time low of $0.77 (set May 12).
* **Average volume light (\~100K/day),** but proven capable of 100M+ on a single catalyst given the thin tradeable float.
So basically, my whole thesis in plain terms:
**in plain terms**
1. **You're buying the catalyst back at a cheap price.** The May enterprise deal spike fully round tripped, the deal didn't disappear, the momentum did.
2. **Insiders are accumulating, including at a premium.** Founder and board buying with their own capital near the lows.
3. **The 2,700 census deal is literally a sales weapon.** EMR/EVV integrated reference customers are exactly what enterprise reps use to close the next deal. One more comparable signing re rates a $6.6M cap fast.
4. **Burn discipline (\~18% opex cut over 6 quarters)** buys runway for the thesis to play out.
Some upcoming catalysts to watch:
**Upcoming catalysts to watch**
* **Next earnings (\~early September 2026, filings point to Sep 1–2)**
* **Any follow on enterprise deployment announcement**
* **Product/version releases and recognition** (it was a [Nurse.org](http://Nurse.org) Best AI Nursing Tool finalist).
* **Stockholder approval enabling warrant exercise**

**My valuation and price targets for this**
**Valuation & price target**
At \~$6.6M market cap, I think the market is pricing $AMST as roughly an option on the enterprise model working, it's assigning almost no value to a successful ramp.
The scenarios are:
* **Catalyst case (one new enterprise deal** ***or*** **a strong earnings print confirming the ramp):** **$2.00–$2.80,** essentially a retest of the May spike zone.
* **Best case (multiple deals, compliance cleared, momentum crowd returns):** **$3.50+**, back toward the $4.78 52 week high.
**My honest personal near term target: \~$2.20**, predicated specifically on one more enterprise win landing before or at the September earnings.
