Really very good advice, and timely. Though I know all of these things, greed has a way of clouding my judgement. Yep...weedstocks has crept up to 25% of my portfolio. That's not good. I got sucked in last December on the S3 Executive Order. I did not sell that news event!
The upshot is the shares are held in tax free accounts, so if they explode it is a home run. The bad news is this means I cannot write off the losses either, which continue to fester this year.
Risk/reward? That's where the major rethink is happening. I know weedstocks are high risk. Unfortunately, I am beginning to think the reward is just not there to justify that risk. This primarily has to do with the legal/regulatory hurdles and what we have clearly seen over the last ten years of how low a priority this is for the USA government and how much resistance there is from well funded organizations looking to keep children off drugs and sniffer dogs employed.
I still believe medical applications and low dose THC drinks is where the potential lies. I am astounded the vast majority of the population either don't know or don't care (perhaps both) about viable alternatives to destructive drugs (Tylenol, opioids) and alcohol.
Wow, just wow.
I thought by now the evidence would have convinced politicians...but I think the pharmaceutical and alcohol lobby groups are simply too well established and the misinformation too deep.
Wish it was otherwise...but definitely revisiting my risk/reward assessment. Will look to reduce this portion of my portfolio to around 10%.

I think we may be looking at only S3 medical and not rec. I have a feeling they will stretch us all out a while longer until the real reform that’s needed actually happens
Medical should be controlled and rec also, but with different allowed THC levels.
Deschedule rec by 2030 maybe. 🤔

I wonder if this is a weed drink, with hemp derived THC and cannabinoids or if it is an entirely different formulation.

We need to get back to hype posts and mode. r/cc killed alts by removing the number one location people found them in. Seriously, I had JUST figured out how to make money on them and they changed the subs rules.
Being a THC/hemp, crypto and 7oh/kratom person living in corrupt MN I can't help but see how much reddit is used to literally steer the masses.
