I own some MCD but I think there have been better stocks to buy (like KO or PG) which have much stronger brands IMO. I just can't see MCD being a thing in 20-30 years. The younger generation is just different.

>It's just an alternative gambling avenue that's for some reason is still legally and generally morally acceptable for children. Not to say that children is the primary demographic, but being treated as PG bypasses all sorts of advertising, payment and regulatory barriers that regular gambling has to deal with.
>Logan Paul is just a grifter, gambling with large sums is engaging content. And again, unlike doing slots or regular scams, this adds less toxicity to his brand.
To be clear, I'm not defending the gambling element to trading cards. I was just describing the market and why it's growing, which it is. So not sure if you were just adding color to the discussion or if it was somehow meant to be relevant to my comment lol.
>Netflix has tons of niche trash. Since they don't release their numbers, we have no clue how popular it is. I imagine it's cheap as dirt to make, so multiple seasons aren't a surprise.
>Googling "goldin auction" brings up an auction house in New Jersey, which is somewhat indicative of it's popularity.
This is just a lack of information on your part, I'm afraid. Goldin is considered a blue chip auction house, and arguably the most powerful in the world right now for collectables and memorabilia. The show has consistently debuted in Netflix's top 10, but that's tangential to just how popular and powerful Goldin is right now. And they're just one of many auction houses that have shifted their focus to this market significantly. It's definitely a growing area.

I have the same strategy. What stocks do you own? BRK.B, WMT, PG, KO?

> Goldin auction show on Netflix has multiple seasons and rates well
Netflix has tons of niche trash. Since they don't release their numbers, we have no clue how popular it is. I imagine it's cheap as dirt to make, so multiple seasons aren't a surprise.

Hey r/dividends!
One thing that always annoyed me about dividend trackers is they spread payments evenly across 12 months — which is completely wrong. KO doesn't pay every month, it pays in January, April, July and October.
So I put together the actual payment months for the 30 most held dividend stocks here:
|Ticker|Company|Frequency|Pays in|
|:-|:-|:-|:-|
|KO|Coca-Cola|Quarterly|Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct|
|JNJ|Johnson & Johnson|Quarterly|Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec|
|MSFT|Microsoft|Quarterly|Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec|
|PG|Procter & Gamble|Quarterly|Feb/May/Aug/Nov|
|MO|Altria|Quarterly|Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct|
|T|AT&T|Quarterly|Feb/May/Aug/Nov|
|VZ|Verizon|Quarterly|Feb/May/Aug/Nov|
|MAIN|Main Street Capital|Monthly|Every month|
|O|Realty Income|Monthly|Every month|
|ABBV|AbbVie|Quarterly|Feb/May/Aug/Nov|
*(I'll add more in the comments if there's interest)*
I built this list while working on a side project — a dividend tracker that actually uses the real payment months instead of guessing. Happy to share more if anyone's curious.
What stocks am I missing from this list?Hey r/dividends!
