I see.
I am not sure if I was clear, but I did have the funds to cover for any option position I would open.
I am at an NVL of 3,000, but I had funded my account with €500 cash so I could open positions. The 3000 right now is because I did not want to leave those 500 euros idle after not being able to do what I intended.
And what I intended was to sell puts on stocks I had enough money to cover, namely BOQ, LYG and NMR, for example, which trade at 5 or 6 dollars. It didn't work, got that response.
Then I tried doing bull and bear spreads on multiple stocks like VLY, BAC, NAB, SAN, for a spread that could fall within my budget of 500 euros, since such stocks trade at between 1-100 in their respective currency. Again, I did possess the money to cover those positions, yet I was not allowed to open any positions.
I got mixed responses from Google, GPT and others about what the issue could be, since I am not even using margin. I did have the funds to cover.
