I do agree with some of the issues regarding the roll out of renewables and the lack of Aus manufacturering industry. Regarding the land, to be fair land around turbines is still agriculturally usable, and as for solar farms CSIRO's recent research specifically found that lower-productivity grazing land is often the most suitable location and that sheep can graze under the panels.

Anyways, fossil fuels have their own continuous material and environmental requirements because fuel has to be extracted, transported and burned throughout the life of the generator. Your claim about the concrete needed for a wind turbine is pretty laughable, it's like saying we shouldn't build a bridge because it uses too much resources as well. Let us know the full breakdown of resources for building a coal and gas plant too.
Much of the pre existing coal plants have been reused or were at the end of their life cycle anyway, so it's not like the jump to renewables is sudden or leaving behind new and usable energy production plants.
Regarding price of energy being higher because of renewables,AEMO reported that renewables supplied 46.5% of NEM generation, while average wholesale prices fell 12% year-on-year to $73/MWh, with batteries increasingly shifting cheap daytime solar into the evening peak.

And with more people taking up home based renewables you can see energy companies getting desperate and increasing the daily supply charges, as energy prices fall and the demand falls.
