CA governor debate just happened and here’s my investment thesis:
Predictions markets are overestimating the GOP’s senate chances. Mark my word, but NE and IA and KS are gonna flip (maybe they’re intentionally overestimating because now they’re cozy with mango and will just let him make big returns betting on dems chances). CONVERSELY, I sincerely think that the gop will win the CA governor race, why because there’s hot greek life people in their 20s in socal and most of them came of age during Covid and went anti woke and those types of voters didn’t exist in 2018 and being hot typically used to mean you lean left but now it means you lean right and I think that they’re gonna vote for Steve Hilton in droves. Why did I say the other states will go blue? Because they DON’T have hot people (and all the IG models are MAGA anyways, EXCEPT for the fact that MAGA put in place the now former presssec who is an incredibly ugly and deranged individual with zero moral compass). Nevertheless I feel im right and my returns from this will be MASSIVE. Except for the edge case I gave, I feel that how hot you are strongly correlates with which party you support and if im right (which I probably am) im gonna make A LOT of money…
I would SERIOUSLY consider moving back to the state if it happens (and I’m socially lefty while economically probably even more right than MAGA).
