I now have just over $1k in a Robin hood account as bonus cash that I got for moving over some of my long term holdings, it's got a lock up of 1 year. (at which point I plan to do an in-specie transfer back to my main account
I was think I could just collect the 3.35% interest for the year as they don't yet have access to ETFs or I could do a buy write on LYG as I've wanted to pick up more shares in lloys banking group anyway and selling a monthly call would just help set a take profit and generate some extra income.
