Not super badly, but yeah, space etfs for example, have tons of legacy junk and charge 0.8-0.6% while there are only a handful of companies (literally around 10 or less) worth investing
Same for critical minerals/uranium etfs, they have tonns of "literally who?" miners, but the absence of name recognition means that they can stay underappreciated even if the theme itself plays out, so that's why i'm only sticking to popular names i can make an informed decision about, not outsourcing it to a passive manager for 0.8%
For space i swapped the etfs for RKLB, ASTS, MDA and SPCX , no globalstar, echostar, cock and ballstar , eutelsat & other junk
For uranium/critical minerals i switched to CCJ, LEU, UUUU and KZAP
