The KAI KF-21 Boramae is South Korea's advanced, indigenous 4.5-generation fighter jet designed to replace aging F-4 and F-5 aircraft. As of May 2026, the KF-21 has passed combat suitability, with mass production underway and initial deployment scheduled for September 2026, aiming for a 40-unit Block-I delivery by 2028.
