I work full time and usually keep charts up throughout the day - but I don't really have mental bandwidth at the end of the day to research, plan, and keep track of everything.
In my off time over the past year and a half I've been building a tech stack between my main rig (6800 XT) and mini PC (Ninkear) combining Frontier LLMs + Local LLMs to automate market info for actionable decisions based on my current goal or setup idea - I.E tracking the 1H / 4H trend on SPY + GLD (the equities I trade most).
My favorite scanner I've made so far is my "Sector Rotation Scanner" - tracks the performance of many equities compared to SPY / QQQ and factors in Vix, bond yields, etc. Though I mainly trade SPY / GLD, I often times will target single stocks in active sectors when SPY doesn't yield A+ Setups. I also built a news scanner to catch momentum plays (like FRMI in the attached pics).
This is a way to make it easy for me especially if I miss the morning stream I usually hop onto for market info. I've actually "inspired" a few others to make similar scanners / sector info lol.
I've been having a hard time gathering feedback, and I just saw another software Sunday posted here (didn't go well lol) - Thought this might be a good opportunity to hear from an outside perspective.

You're being dishonest. There are real risks that apply solely to GLD- counterparty/custodian risk, Governments could begin confiscating or freezing gold transactions, GLD authorized participants could default... Much crazier things have happened in history.

Regarding 1, there is always the chance. I hold the ETF GLD. It’s backed by gold bars in London, with audits. They make a lot of money off that. Could always be an issue but chances are so small.
Nations buy physical gold for their own reasons that doesn’t necessarily apply to individuals unless you’re into conspiracies.
You’re wrong on the last point. Reddit is not the place for that debate but you do you.

This is just a stupid argument. Of shit hits the fan hard enough you are dead, if it doesn’t your gold spot ETF will be fine. There isn’t a real in between where physical gold is fine but your GLD isn’t

I didn’t buy physical gold at the top, and I didn’t expend too much of my portfolio. But, well, I’m locked in for good now, at 22.5% down on my investment in GLD.

Physical gold is a crazy thing to do unless you're a prepper. You can just buy the ticker GLD. Every time you trade physical gold a middleman is going to take a 10% commission. You also risk having it stolen, lost in a disaster, etc.

I like physical gold and GLD, different tools for the same job. I think we see $10k/oz in 5 years and then it would depend on fiat inflation and central banks. As noted above it can go sideways for long periods of time.

Go with SCHD and SWPPX, maybe add few ETFs such as GLD, SLV, DRAM and forget Day-trading for good. If it is easy, everyone on this sub would do it and living a dream life
You are currently gambling like majority of sub and eventually you gonna lose everything left in your account

Looks good. The GLD is the only thing I don’t like. Gold has another 10-20% drop ahead before it’s back to it’s inflation adjusted average price. But certainly it’ll never go to 0. If you’re looking for a rock solid hedge against the equities, SGOV would make a lot more sense.

For me it would be 55% VT, 30% VOOG, 15% GLD
