It sounds like you are looking long term. Good. Its tough to beat some ETF's, like FTEC (mostly tech, avoid if you want to stay away from tech or already have a full tech portfolio and want diversification).. SMH for semi conductors...should continue to amaze in growth no matter which semi wins: INTC, AMD, TSMC, NVDA, etc. The cream will rise to the top. Try to buy on dips, but dont wait forever. I like FFLC better than schd, but that's me. And the q's are amazing. QQQM, for example. I have not ruled out oil and gas, Buffet likes CVX and a couple more. Its hard to improve on Buffet for individual stock he buys. If you want to diversify with gold or silver, you can even get some with dividends or miners like GDX. And, I like crypto, but its been good to me, so I may be biased there. You can buy crypto in a non crypto account with many etfs, fbtc, or even some leveraged etf cryptos if you want to invest little and leverage much, and are willing to risk 40 to 50 percent loss, often shorter term, and have the patience to wait till it rebounds.
