It really depends what you are trading, who your broker / firm is, and what your focus is / should be. Firstly, it seems like you can see the correlation that risking everything leads to losing it all. This will always be the case. If you ever get lucky doing this just know your going to give it right back in the future. I never met anyone who got lucky and didn't lose that money later. If your trading futures you can use prop firms leverage your money, HOWEVER MORE IMPORTANTLY YOU NEED TO FIX YOUR BELIEFS. Yes some brokers have lockouts and things like that and you should use them because you need them. However, you will never get to where you want to be without setting your focus away from making money and back onto learning. Just by the fact that you're risking everything, you don't know enough to focus on making money. Instead of trying to make money, you should try to learn from your mistakes and what's causing them. Learning not to risk everything is a great first lesson. And without a doubt there will be many more lessons you will learn. The sooner you can focus on learning from your mistakes, the sooner you stop making them, and then you can actually make some money and keep it. Good luck!

P.S. This is one of those problems where I've never heard anybody profitable say to risk it all. Just say to yourself if you really want to do this, you can't risk it all. If you can set a simple risk limit you'll never be able to deal with the harder challenges later.
