I treat developed-market international funds like value-stock funds. They're correlated to the S&P 500, just generally slower.
One thing I have in common with Charlie Munger is that we were both burned by investments in China. I see growth possibilities in emerging markets, and I think there are fund managers who understand those markets well enough to buy good investments for me, but I'm investing only in ex-China funds.
