For starters drop ULTY, AMDY, and CRCO Yield max funds. Yield max funds are known for high NAV erosion which permanently reduced the Yield. JEPQ isa good fund so keep it. Also you don't want to rely on covered call frond for all of your income. It is better 10 funs that each generate it money differently than all the others For example in my roth I have QQQI 13% yield, ARDC 9%, PBDC 9%, EMO 9%, CLOZZ 8%, PFFR8%, UTF 7%, UTG 6.4% FAGIX 5%, JAAA 5.5%. That way if one fund has problems the other should still be fine and genrating income.
if you have a bad fund and you don't have enough income there are several ways you can handle this.
Use any cash reserves. you have, Some people have a year or more of cash available .
You can sell some growth funds to compensate for the loss of income.
IF you have enough funds available you can target say 30% more income than you need. So if dividend drops you can use your excess income to make up for the difference. you can invest the extra income fro more dividend income.
You can get a marine loan and use that other buy a safe dividend fund to compensate fro the loss of income but you will also need to pay off the margin loan.
And lastly go back to work.
