UPS is in the claws of Teamsers...Forget it...But... not always does the highest yield mean the worst securities...I have a hell of a lot of MAIN, ARCC, TSLX, HTGC... Business Development Companies... that have been pretty down lately... but I bought them loooong time ago, collected pretty decent dividends, and will be collecting more in the future... so, timing is everything...Same story with REITs… O, NNN, ADC, PSTL, CPT, SPG, etc… bought them at the multi-year low, right after COVID… now have capital gains and OK dividends...A dividend investor has to be patient, more like a farmer than a roulette player...yes, it's mostly boring, but some of the invested money could be put into more exciting sectors... like the space industry, for example... and Alfa could be everywhere, not only in tech...once bought DBSDY...now have 250 percent capital gains and 2,58 yield...not bad as for a bank :) BTW, start with ETFs...not shares of individual companies...
