You’re right. At the same time, the emotion detection gives you an additional layer of information after the session. You can look back at the overall emotional pattern and see whether emotions like anger, sadness, or surprise were showing up without you being fully aware of them.
Then you can compare that with how the session actually went. So instead of relying only on what you consciously remember feeling, you get a second source of information that can also give more context to what you later discuss with the CBT assistant in our app.
