**Hi everyone! Scott here-**  I built Fido: a screener that researches each ticker for you.

**What it does**
Fido is research software for day traders. It finds stocks moving on real volume,real catalysts, then researches each one so you're not opening ten tabs per ticker. It doesn't tell you what to buy, and it doesn't auto-trade for you (not yet).
**A typical morning**
1. **HUNT** scans for stocks moving on real volume and ranks them. Each row shows price, % move, relative volume, volume, float, spread, and fresh news or SEC filings (linked to sec.gov).
2. **DIG** researches the whole HUNT list, or the tickers you name (`dig CURI NIO`): the catalyst, SEC filings (offerings, reverse splits, dilution),**REAL** float, short interest, past runs, headlines, and a possible plan with entry, stop and targets.
3. **BARK** hands the idea to Fido's **research panel**, which digs for what could go wrong before you commit a dollar.
4. **Backtest** the plan before you trust it: `backtest CURI 2.10 1.95 2.60` replays that exact entry/stop/target on the last 60 sessions of 5-minute bars and shows how often the target or the stop came first.
5. Charts (VWAP, RSI, MACD, Bollinger), a watchlist, a headline **squawk** that reads new market headlines aloud, and "Hey Fido" voice commands. It installs on your phone's home screen.
6. Connect your Robinhood and Fido shows your portfolio next to your research (read-only: it never places or changes an order).
Every idea is researched from several angles before it reaches you: green means it passed, red means it didn't, amber means data is still coming in. When the market is closed, a value says so instead of passing a stale number off as live.
