The drawdowns scare the boggleheads but they're not wrong. When you don't diversify with a sp or other fund and go all in on tech, growth etc and there are sector shifts or drawdowns (nd FUNDS like qqq, qqqm) and you're not prepared, you will realize why. It's scary how much ndx funds can drop and how quickly. Also there is no guarantee of profit on any funds index based or other. I have a play roth I want to grow as much as possible but still not cry as much during drawdowns. It's essentially a multi etf portfolio. QNDX,AIS,FMTM,FWD and some IBIT,XRPZ,CHPY,SOXL. This would scare the death out of boggleheads. I diversified (and I know it's probably not enough) with DSPY,AVNM,ASCE & MLPX. Like I said though it's a play roth. With a boggleheady type approach it would be something like DSPY,AVNM, ASCE and MLPX and done.
