At 25, I would solve the overlap before adding SCHD. VOO, QTOP, SMH and VUG already lean pretty hard into the same growth and tech trade, so SCHD probably just adds another fund without fixing the concentration. If you want a cleaner long-term setup, I would lean more toward a broad core like VTI and then add international before adding a dividend sleeve.

I would probably avoid SCHD, QTOP is also an odd index imo, I would just go QQQM instead.

25M, started investing last year and currently have about $8.5k invested. My portfolio is mostly VOO, QTOP, SMH, and VUG. I’m planning to open a Roth IRA and was thinking about investing in SCHD there. Would SCHD be a good choice at my age, or should I focus more on VOO/VTI for long-term growth?
