You should talk to a lawyer who specializes in international funds transfers, not reddit. But Google, Esquire says Oz doesn't charge duty or HST/VAT on imported bullion, so presumably all you have to do is put the kilo in your carry on and declare it. Although, no idea if you will need to bribe anyone on the way out of Kuwait. Also, if you don't have receipts or it isn't stamped with your name, expect at least one border guard to think it's stolen.
