For 2026, actually about -0.5% since 5.5% net return on RTB32 for the 3 months of 2026 with inflation projected at around 6%. I recall the downtrend projection of inflation up to 2028 was based BSP Governor’s House and Senate presentations in line with the 2027 budget proposal deliberations.

Already subscribed to RTB32 as part diversification. I also have MP2, index funds and property. This primary bond issuances happens only once a year. The net interest rate after tax is 5.5% p.a., which is higher than most time deposits in banks. According to BSP, inflation rate is expected to settle around 6% in 2026 but fall back to target 3% by 2028.
