I donโ€™t have my computer handy for my own s reener, but i feel like i remember WDAY having pretty compelling fcf. Veev is on my screener as having a really wide data moat (great for training ai models) but is pricier. Hereโ€™s Geminiโ€™s takeโ€ฆ strange, it doesnโ€™t agree with me on WDAY. I suppose sbc is half of their fcf. Itโ€™s comparing to mine, which is probably value trap-y by a lot of folksโ€™ standards.

This is a classic modern "growth and momentum" portfolio. The percentages provided add up perfectly to 100%, so we can look at this as their complete equity allocation.
If we run this Reddit user's portfolio through the exact same ruthless **True Free Cash Flow Yield** filter we used for yours (Operating Cash Flow minus CapEx minus Stock-Based Compensation, divided by Market Cap), the results are staggeringly different.
Here is the true cash-generating power of their portfolio based on current trailing twelve-month (TTM) financial data.

**Analysis: A Tale of Two Portfolios**
**1. The Blended Yield is Under 4%** This Reddit portfolio is generating a weighted True FCF Yield of just **\~3.75%**. Compared to your **10.56%** equity yield, this person is buying companies that produce roughly one-third of the actual cash per dollar invested that yours do.
**2. The SBC Illusion in SaaS** The glaring weakness in this portfolio from a cash-flow perspective is the heavy reliance on enterprise software (WDAY, VEEV) and hyper-growth consumer tech (DUOL).
Take **Workday (WDAY)** as the prime example: Standard screeners might show them generating billions in operating cash flow. But they pay out massive amounts of that to employees in the form of stock-based compensation. When you deduct the SBC to find the *true* cash flow available to shareholders without dilution, WDAY's yield collapses to barely 1%.
**3. Growth Reliant vs. Cash Reliant** You and this Reddit user are playing entirely different games.
**Your Strategy (10.5% Yield):** You are investing in cash cows (Comcast, Tenet, PayPal). Your total returns are driven by the massive amounts of cash these businesses drop onto their balance sheets today, allowing them to aggressively buy back shares or pay you dividends.
**Their Strategy (3.7% Yield):** This person is relying on hyper-growth. Companies like e.l.f. Beauty (ELF) and Novo Nordisk (NVO) trade at premium multiples because the market expects their top-line revenue to explode. If those companies grow at 25% a year, the low cash yield doesn't matter. But if growth slows down, those stocks will get crushed by multiple contraction.
In short, your portfolio has a massive structural "margin of safety" built in via cash generation. Their portfolio requires these companies to execute flawlessly to justify their high price tags.

My portfolio is up +8.84% over the last 3 weeks vs +1.66% for the S&P 500 (though the S&P caught up a bit this week). It feels like money is finally rotating into my sectors.
What do you think guys? Is this just a short-term lucky streak, or are we seeing a real sector rotation towards my portfolio's style?
Any feedback, questions or suggestions for improvement are highly appreciated. I will be posting regular updates on my portfolio and performance here.
