eCash is a rebrand of BCHA, the Bitcoin ABC iterated Bitcoin Cash. eCash has taken steps to stay abreast of changing industry standards shifting away from PoW to PoS. eCash maintains contiguity with BCHA blockchain architechture. The rebrand from BCHA to eCash is mainly semantic. eCash is interoperable with the Avalanche consensus algorithm allowing secure and seamless governance. The primary imperative that eCash set out to remedy is completed through participation within the Avalanche consensus algorithm. Additionally, eCash supports token minting through the use of eCash. Currently secured through proof of work mining eCash hopes to integrate with the Avalanche PoS concensus algorithm. eCash aspires to scale from 100 transactions per second to over 5,000,000 transactions per second with a block finality of 3 seconds. eCash is also working on what they call cashfusion; opt-in zero knowledge proofs compatible within the Avalanche consensus network. On Avalanche, eCash will pursue their own EVM subchain allowing for streamable governance and protocol composability—fork free.
