Had to send someone $25 earlier this year. Had some SOL and asked if they accepted that. Nope usdt only. Converted to usdt but on solana chain. Couldn’t find a bridging service that would allow me to send usdt from my solana wallet for them to receive usdt on their eth wallet. I was happy to pay a small fee. Ended up sending the usdt to an exchange, changing it to usdt on eth chain and withdrawing it to their wallet. Despite sending some extra to cover gas and conversion, I didn’t account for the $1 fee to withdraw 💩 so ended up short. Luckily the guy was ok with it being slightly under. I forgot how much of a shitshow crypto was. But admittedly it’s always been a shitshow. Years ago I remember buying a nft on a L2 chain (IMX), I converted enough eth with an extra 5% on top for gas, withdrew to my metamask, bridged it to my IMX wallet, went to buy the NfT only to find that they cake on some fees and that I was slightly short by like $2, Was so pissed off. Had to send another $10 or so just to ensure enough would make it to the other end. No wonder those things died in the ass. I still have a few dollars in that wallet that I am abandoning because withdrawal fees would just eat it

There were connections between wutang, pleaserdao, and GameStop, especially with the NFT market place, we even had big hits like BettyBoop and Hitgirl artist on the market place, marketing scheme are beneficial for GameStop when related to each other, the market place just couldn’t reach the inflection point for mass adoption, we also had Loopring for a financial market and IMX for a gaming market sadly none of the attempt hit main stream in a reasonable time scale for GameStop or Crypto overall
