I'm considering selling all my ZEQT etfs and switching over to ZWC etfs.
[ZEQT.TO](http://ZEQT.TO) seems to be more heavily invested in the American market,. Particularly in regards to the tech sector. Which I'm losing confidence in because of all the money tech companies have dumped on AI with no real results. Plus the upcoming lawsuits targeting big tech regarding the dangers of social media to children.
[ZWC.TO](http://ZWC.TO) seems more focused on Canadian banks and energy sector. With the volatile situation in the Strait of Hormuz, and all the energy infrastructure/ refineries destroyed in the Gulf states by Iranian drones, is it fair to say the Canadian energy companies will have to step up?
Am I reading the tea leaves wrong? I don't often make changes to my portfolio. I'm pretty much "leave it and forget it" type of guy. But I'm really feeling this one.
